Day 1: Upon your arrival in Arusha or at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be greeted and transferred to a hotel in Arusha, where you will receive a briefing and prepare for your safari adventure.

In the morning, your Safari Guide will greet you at your hotel in Arusha. From there, you’ll set off across the scenic Masai plains, dotted with acacia trees, en route to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, observe the vibrant Masai people, recognizable by their colorful attire, tending to their herds and navigating the landscape on bicycles and donkey carts.

Tarangire National Park is celebrated for its large elephant populations. Here, you’ll explore vast seasonal swamps, follow the winding Tarangire River, and enjoy panoramic views of a plethora of wildlife, including zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and giraffes, all visible from the open roof of your safari vehicle. Look out for lions on the hunt and leopards lounging in the tree canopies. Following a rewarding day of wildlife observation, return to your lodge for a delightful dinner and a restful night’s sleep.

After breakfast, you’ll travel through the fertile highlands where the Iraqw people farm wheat, coffee, and corn. Passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll catch your first breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater before continuing to Serengeti National Park.

Arrive by midday to explore this vast park, which features a complex mix of landscapes and is the setting for the giant zebra and wildebeest migrations, depending on the timing. Your day ends in the Seronera Valley, where you’ll enjoy dinner and overnight at a tented lodge.

Multiple game drives are scheduled today to explore different areas of the Serengeti, renowned for its significant wildlife populations, including zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and predators like leopards and cheetahs. The seasonal rains influence the animals’ movement, offering varied experiences throughout the year. After a day of unforgettable sightings, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Start with an early breakfast before departing for another game drive in the Serengeti. Watch for the “Big Five” as you traverse the vast, unfenced landscapes. Later, travel to the Ngorongoro Crater, spending the evening at a lodge on the crater’s edge, preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Wake up early to see a beautiful sunrise over the crater. After breakfast, go down into the crater for a safari drive in this UNESCO World Heritage site, abundant with wildlife and stunning views. Have a picnic lunch in this historic setting before returning to Karatu for the evening.

Your last safari day takes you to Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its flamingos and diverse ecosystems, you’ll spend the day encountering everything from tree-climbing lions to large herds of elephants. The park’s varied landscapes provide a fitting finale to your safari adventure. After a day of exploration, you’ll head back to Arusha, marking the end of your journey.
